William Hill US has announced that it has partnered with the NHL team, the New Jersey Devils.
This marks the second partnership between an NHL team and William Hill.
Joe Asher, CEO of William Hill US, said: “Five years ago, we placed a bet on New Jersey when we invested in opening a sports bar at Monmouth Park without knowing when sports betting would be legalized. Today, we are proud to continue to double down on that commitment by partnering with the Devils and the area.”
As well as becoming the official betting partner of the team, William Hill will also open a sports lounge at the Prudential Center in Newark.
However, the sports lounge won’t be a physical sportsbook, instead, it will act as an activation point for people using the William Hill mobile betting platform.
Looking deeper into this partnership William Hill will also sponsor the first line change during each period of a game.
During game intermissions, William Hills betting odds will be shown on the scoreboard display.
Back in September, the company entered into a partnership with the Las Vegas Golden Knights, becoming the teams official betting partner.
This news comes just days after William Hill filed a lawsuit against FanDuel for allegedly plagiarizing a betting guide.
